Been out a few times with my knife, not had to use it yet but it is attached with two rubber straps. Think its designed to be worn on the calf as the straps are fully extended when worn on my thigh.

The other day, one of them snapped leaving me with just the one. This is a pain as it flaps a bit now, as I found out yesterday and the other one doesn't look like it has much life left in it either. They snap from the river where it is attached to the buckle.

Had a look on eBay and can't really find what I'm after. There are only nylon straps. I would rather elasticated ones so they still grab onto you as I imagine nylon ones would cause the knife to slide down?

Thoughts, opinions and advice appreciated!

im using i bike inner tube for my weight belt im sure that would work just as well for a knife strap.
no point spending your hard earned duckets on stuff you can improvise/recycle for free :)

The Riffe straps are the best I've ever used. They are very stretchy and easy to get up onto your arm, but they last for years.
