Korean traditional divers

There is a fascinating article in the New York Times, international section,page 4, Feb 15, "South Korea's 'Sea Women' Trap Fish and Turn Tables" A must for all you DB ladies. Apparently, being a lady diver in traditional rural Korea was the way to economic and social status. Diving was a ladies only activity and they made more money than the men. So much so that families celebrated when a girl baby was born. They are still diving at 75 and older. If they can do it, I can do it.

Courage, all, some of the Neptunes are still diving into their '80's and still taking yellowtail and WSB's. That means I, too, still have 30 years!
