I'm intermediate skill/experience, looking for a fellow lady freediver in the Seattle area to partner with. I'm mostly into looking at stuff and chasing wildlife, but also happy to focus on technique.

I've been a water rat all my life and cut my teeth on La Jolla cove. I am an ex park ranger, served in the Peace Corps, need to re-up my professional rescuer certification, and, well, basically I'm saying I'm competent and safety oriented : )

It's killing me not being in the water. Finally decided to gear up properly for cold water dives and I'm ready to go!

Thanks, Yes I am. It's been an adjustment trying to figure out how to be happy in the water up here where it's so cold.

What are the temps like? I learned in 55F water in Monterey. Chilly. Tended to dive in a 5mm farmer john/jacket combo.

In the sound it's in the 50s. I use a 7mm two piece suit. Back home in SD I'd use a shorty in the summer, and a 4/3 surf suit in winter.
