Nice static pb there, Cody! I seem to recall in the dim recesses of my memory that it is legal to spearfish in Lake Havasu, and you can even take some species that are worth eating. However, I don't remember what they are. You may want to consult your state Fish and Wildlife/Game office to find out your spearfishing regs. Take care, have fun, and dive with a buddy :) Cheers!

Thanks batray, Believe it or not, I just went swimming in about 25ft. of water last weekend and it was at the border of the grass of on the bottom and the sand and every other time i went down, I would see nice big Bass, It was amazing :]
i was like "Where is my spear when i need it!?"

Thanks

Murphy's law of spearfishing - the fish are always there when you can't spear them! No matter, you'll get your chance. Somehow I remember hearing that Arizona spearing laws are much more spearo-friendly than the California freshwater ones. What kind of bass do you see? I usually see smallmouth bass when I dive in freshwater.

I dont know my fish types well, I just know it was a bass most of them were about 12+ inches or so, some smaller others larger, I also saw alot of carp, Personally my favorite fish is Salmon, Ive never eaten carp, Is it worth it? But i did some research on the internet and i believe the bass i was seeing was Small mouth,
