This was 4th trip out on my new Zodiac and shot some three good size Carpe!
I shot them while in good ambush position among some large boulders. They always come in from behind me and circle to my front firing zone. The ones in Lake Lanier are really nervous and you have to move your gun really slow or they shoot off in a cloud of silt! Here's a pic of one the largest of the day. I have pic of the largest but it's big to post and I can't get it to resize! I know there garbage fish but make for good target practice!

Hey Bladerunner!Good to see someone on the east coast is diving.Hows the clarity in that lake been after the rains? It's been really bad down here in Jax.I had planed a spearing trip two weeks before Katrina formed and the viz was going to be ok but I got called into work for pre-hurricane readyness.I'm hoping things will clear up soon.
Take some shots of your boat when you get a chance and remember practice is the steping stone to perfection.

p.s. I still haven't taken my motor to get serviced. :(
