Hi Roland.

Don't know about Victoria, but last sunday I tried Ottensteiner Stausee. At about 7-10 m there is no more light. No visibility at 20 m, not even the white rope 10cm in front of your eyes.
A look on the divecomputer t 30m, impossible. Turn around just when you think your at your depth. Wicked!

And nevertheless fu***** cold down there.

See ya.

thanks for the information. another location i'll certainly make the greatest effort to avoid.

anyhow...

regarding lake victoria, in case there might be some confusion, i'm talking about lake victoria in tanzania/kenya (in africa;) ).

thanx

Don't know if you ever made it to freedive in Uganda/Kenya but from what I saw whilst I was there it's full of hippo's and croc's, not ideal dive buddies!!!

The beers are plentiful though, the size of hippo's and usually cold when there is electricity, goes off in Kampala while they clean the dam of water hycinth.....

Anyone going (with a screw loose) must try surfing down the rapid's at Bugdigali falls holding onto a jerry-can!!!! oh watch the rock's ouch!!!!
