whats the trick to getting a rubber to last a long time. I have heard putting them in the freezer helps and someone even said garlic oil. I dont know if they were having a lend of me or not but if it works it works i spose. Send some pointers my way.
thanks guys

Recaping: always rinse with fresh water and dry them after use. And store in cool dry place WITHOUT light. When at sea (boat, shore or float) protect the rubbers as much as pheasible from the sun light.

If you use them in guns with open muzzles, when not in use, either remove them from the muzzle, or if not possible, slide them out of the hole to relieve tension on them (they will be hung by the wishbone line then).

However, there's no miracle, rubbers are "alive" they will oxidate (crack or become sticky) eventually.
