Here is the latest batch of guns that are finished... well almost. These are all for local guys here on Maui and are about as different as the guys they are going to.

First is a 44" "rear-plus" handle. All teak with teak handle, neptonics tuna trigger, enclosed "hybrid" track, and 3 5/8s bands.... for those of you on the metric... basically has the same band pull of a 90 with 3 16mm bands. This little guy packs a punch.

Second is one of my standard 120 euros, enclosed track, AR-15 handle frame, 2 5/8s bands and teak stock.

3rd is a 63" ono pick, enclosed track, "rear-plus" handle, teak stock with koa wood handle stocks. 3 5/8 bands or 4 9/16. tuna trigger, and the owner of the gun is a local tatoo artist so he did the branding on the side of the gun.

Beautiful work as always. I'm particularly impressed by the way all your trigger mechs always end up perfectly flush. I'm finicky about little things, and that's one of those particulars that really shows your patience and attention to detail. Anyone who's built a gun knows that is harder to do than it looks!

the guns look great. very nice work.
what kinds of prices do you charge for your work? if that is not a rude question?
do you have a 'general' shape that you work to or are things a touch more organic? i have made a few guns and about to start a couple more, this time using a drop in mech rather than a bolt on. Time to get serious.
Like what you have done with these guns.
Am sure there a few happy guys to be picking up these beauties.

I will agree with Tin Man - to get the mech flush with the track & match the spear is not easy, very good design mate.

These guns look amazing!! Simple and elegant shape, this is how I like it.
Well done

Great as always... I like the simple nice looking finish also great photo shoot skill...

Thanks a lot for the compliments. I actually didn't take all the pictures. I usually do but end up taking all the same boring shots. I had a friend who knows nothing about guns or spearing take the photos and she got some pretty cool, unique shots.

Blaiz, do the trigger mechs have a built in line release as I cant see how this works from the pictures?

not built into the mech but there is a release on the other side. Its the standard neptonic release that is pinned in place next the the trigger housing. The downside of these releases is that they are not self resetting so you have to insure that they are in the rear position before loading the shaft. Not a big deal if your used to it but some people have a hard time getting used to it.

I want to find a method with a spring that won't add a whole lot more work to the process but haven't found one yet.

Sent you a PM

Same hear but I have the method just need the spring know!
You would think a little s/s spring would be easy to buy!!
