I just tried on 2 omer suits, a 4 long and a 4 regular.....I'm 6 ' , 170 lbs, 40''
chest 32 inside leg . The 4 long was too big the 4 reg was comfy but I think I could go down 1 size..... any comments? I am going to try a 3 mm cos I'm trying to keep the weight belt light and water temps here are 65degree winter and 80 degree summer......I have read lots of opinion that to layer under an open cell suit is ill advised, but how about a non buoyant vest between the farmer john and the top.....enough to keep the core a little warmer and maybe a lining of the hood for those cold(!!!) Bermuda winter days...The sleeves of the Omer suit would still stick to my skin and the top should be able to slide on over the new materials such as a Thermocline top......
I hope to pole spear a Wahoo and maybe a Tuna so I'm thinking of the Ocean Mimetic suit......
