Most of you will know that us Kiwis are a competitive bunch...so heres a little fun ahead of the world champs
For those of you that didn’t follow the World Cup in Greece, ( if you didnt....where were you???) French Freediver Guillaume Nery and NZ’s own Kerian Hibbs went head to head, with a -70m CNF announcements on the same day…as a result of that Guillaume and Kerian started a battle royal, the day of their dives was dubbed as the Nery vs Hibbs showdown. Both divers got white cards…there was no clear winner.
So now, the 2 of them meet again at the World Champs in Okinawa…and the battle continues, this time however they have both called in the troops. It is no longer the Nery and Hibb’s showdown, its is the French Vs the Kiwis.

A little bit of fun to kick off the World Champs, AIDA New Zealand is getting in behind our guys, you can tell this clearly from the image it seems the French are naked, we supplied our guys with clothing, some have said its a tactic and wonder what weapons Kerian, William and Guy have stashed under there, .
With something like 23l of lung capacity, 600+m’s of Dynamics, 260m of depth and around 20mins of Static breath hold between them, its bound to be an exciting comp!!!
