Where can I purchase cheap lead shot to make a neck weight with??
The local stores seem quite expensive.
I'm in Australia

I saw #9 Lead shot (very small) in my local gun shop for a rediculous $105/10kg. Those that reload their own shotgun shells buy lead shot. Depending on where you live, I would just call a few gun shops find out their price.

I use it to ballast some of my guns.

Can get it for $70/$80 for 10kg's, don't need that much though.

I haven't found it cheaper than 70-80. Just split with a few others, it's definitely worth it! Get the smallest you can, even if it's a little more expensive.
