Hi Guys,

Any of you lads/lasses use Leader Fins and if so how hard is hard?

I've got a pair of carbon fins at the moment that are very comfortable to use but feel soft, I'm thinking of getting a pair of the Leader fins Wave in Hard, will that be like wearing planks of wood?!

I'm looking to increase my depth and while the fins I've got are great for surface swims, they don't "feel" like they're pushing me up to the surface when i put power into them

I've had my technique confirmed as ok, so I think a change of fin is worth a try.

If any of you have tried any, i'd appreciate any advice,

cheers,

Lou

Hi Lou,

give Dave Stephens @ www.fins4u.co.uk a shout, he sells and uses the Leader fins and should be able to give you a good opinion as to which to buy!

i use the wave carbons at the mo but i think they are the soft ones, Dave will remember as we both got the same ones!
I've used them for a while now and find them to be quite nice!

Lou: I have a pair of medium stereofin and they are just the job for spearfishing -

I've got a pair of mediums stereos, they do the job quite nicely. I don't think hard would be to hard to deep freediving.

I have a Leaderfin mono with a hard blade. It´s hard as heck, not recommended if anything close to that on bi-fins also.

Thanks very much for your replys, I'm gonna give them a try and see how I get on with them.

Thanks again for your advice and pointers,

Lew
