hello everybody,
i am new of this forum my name is pierluigi and i am from italy.
the reason why i am writing is that in june 2008 i bought a leaderfins hyper (not pro) after 2 weeks i was using it ,the glue started to come out, i talk with the company, i sent it back and they gave me another one.
after one month same thing.
i wrote them back asking a model with no problems; they send me a hyper pro. I receved it the end of december 2008 and i used it since 2 weeks for now everything seems ok.

has anybody experiece with this model??
PS. sorry for my bad english.

I looked at this fin at one point - but instead bought a non-axial (hyper) fin from Triton. Leaderfins is first rate though - and they do a great job of standing by their fins.

I've had a monofin completely fall apart and be replaced free even though it was out of warranty. After talking about this problem with a couple of different manufacturers I suspect the issue is with bad lots of glue. I'm in the process of putting the fin back together as sort of a project.

I've had my Triton since last spring and have subjected it to some pretty harsh conditions with no problems so far - but I expect to have to make small repairs to any monofin over time.

I'm quite sure the Hyper Pro is an excellent fin - it is a design called non-axial - also known as 'hyper' which is essentially the same across several manufacturers (hyperfins, leaderfins, waterway, Triton). Hopefully the glue doesn't have any problems. FYI - its basically just superglue. I use the gel type and always keep a tube around for small repairs.

I had an old Waterway and tried Superglue but it makes the straps go brittle?
