Hi,

I'm planning to move on my next mono (I have a Nemo now) and considered the Hyper (not the pro).

I'm 1.75, 75kg and diving at max -20m. I usually like to surface swim around and make dives to gain some more meters. Swim/dive time about 1hour or more.. What blade stiffness should I go for?

My shoe size is 41 and planning to take the 40-42 and wear it with 1mm neopren sock. Is that gonna be comfortable enough?

many thanks

I had one of those. I had to get the size down in footpocket sizing as I found them very generous - especially at the toe. I got a soft blade and it was good for dynamics - did 150m in them - Dave Mullins over 200. and 95m depth (but prob a med blade). If I was to get it again I would ask for the softest medium blade he has in stock (I think there are a few of these blades made up in advance and some are harder than others even in the same category).

My show size is a 42 and I needed the smallest footpockets he has (UK 4-6) and even then I wore thick toe socks with them. Even in the cold quarry where I dive that would be fine for hours.

Hope this helps,
Stuart
