Ok, So I have herd alot about the leaderfins running somewhat soft to their stiffness. I just bought a pair but have yet to specify what stiffness to get bc I wanted to run it on the board first.

I usually boat dive and do a good amount of surface swimming. Most of my dives are around 40ft to the bottom and then I swim around on the bottom for a min or so before heading back up to the surface. I know it comes down to preference but these will be my first carbon fins. Any input on the fitness I should get- specifically for Leaderfins? Fins I use now are Medium #3 fiberglass..

Thanks,
Fletch:martial

One of my friends have the Wave carbons with Soft stiffness. To my opinion they are way too loose for an adult man to use. I would say that you should go atleast for medium stiffness.

Leaderfins usually runs one step softer than other brands. I've tried soft ones and mediums. As Jouskari said, soft was too soft. Medium was nice. I've also heard that the hard ones aren't that hard. But medium is a good place to start.
