This is a reminder of the upcoming 3Rs, which will be held Saturday July 10, 2010 at Goldfish Point ( La Jolla Caves)
.
Free, open to the public, guided snorkel tour for divers to learn local dive spots.

Location: Goldfish Point (La Jolla Caves)
Meet at - The Old Shell Shop, 1325 Coast Blvd.
Just as you come down off Prospect on the way to La Jolla Cove San Diego California.
Session Host: The Dive Animals

Time: Registration will be at 8:00am - Briefing at 8:15am

EQUIPMENT
Bring a mask, fins, and snorkel. A full wetsuit is strongly recommended for warmth and protection from scrapes. Weights are discouraged unless you are a strong swimmer or your wetsuit is extremely buoyant. Scuba gear (regulator, BC, tank) is not used during the 3R's.

If you have not been diving or snorkeling recently,
PLEASE CHECK YOUR GEAR BEFORE SATURDAY.

LIABILITY WAIVER
3R's is free, but participants must sign a liability waiver as part of registration. Participants aged 17 or less must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

3Rs (Rocks, Rips and Reefs) is a free in-water education and site orientation program for divers and snorkelers. Participants are briefed on the interaction of surf, swell, and tides on underwater rocks and reefs at popular local dive sites, and then enter the water for a snorkel tour with local Instructors.
