I've been using a Led Lenser Frogman torch this year. I don't take it every dive and its probably only been in the water 5 or 6 times.
Sometime between changing the batteries in September and now it has developed a leak. I discovered this when it suddenly stopped working a few days ago (on land) and when I opened it I found a mass of salt crystals on the metal light unit. Having dismantled it and removed all salt residues it is now working again but I have serious doubts about the O ring seal and I am inclined to treat it as a rainproof torch now rather than a dive torch.
If anybody else is using one of these it might be wise to check it regularly for signs of leakage before you experience a sudden failure during a night dive.
(Nice torch when it worked though with 50 hours of bright light from 4 AA batteries)
