Lesvos, Greece - spearfishing

Hello everyone,

I'm going to Lesvos on holiday in May and am thinking about taking my spearfishing kit. Does anyone know if you're allowed to spearfish in this area, or if there are areas where spearfishing is not allowed?

I think you will find a ban exists in Greece during May. Also you would require a licence to spearfish - sorry for the bad news - we go out in April to avoid it
