Going to Croatia nearly for ten days (period: 20, July -- 5, August). Living in a lighthouse on a small island. 800 euros for a week (food not included) plus 100 euro - transfer from airport. It's possible to divide this to four person. Need a buddy. Never been there before. Details here --> Adriatic.hr - Lighthouses - Pictures
Anybody interested?

Hi buddy,
I'll be in Croatia too. Same period.
Where is the lighthouse?

Best regards,

Kinky

Re: Lighthouses

That does look like a very cool location for spearing.
BTW It is possible to rent lighthouses for holidays in Britain too - the National Trust seem to own most of them (& most of the rest of the country come to think of it). A former colleague rented one in Dorset with 11 friends for a new year bash.

Also, in Washington state, USA, there are some lighthouses that can be rented for vacations.

hi,
i'm new to this forum, but i just wanted to say that that lighthouse (Porer) is a great place to be. it's on the very south of the Istra peninsula and it's a great place to dive. there was even a national spearfishing championship around that area few weeks ago. so, don't have second thoughts about going there. i live there so i know!
