here are two links one is a wind forcast and the other is a tide forcast ..

they will help you plan when you will have the best visibilty :

everyone knows that light wind makes for better visibilty,,,,,,, but what level of tide makes for the best viz ???

i think a slow building tide gives the best VIZ .... i also find eary morning is the best time for some reson. any ideas ?????
