how often do you guys replace you rubber bands on your spear guns? i have had mine for a year, but i think they are stretching becuase i am not getting good penetration. thanks for any help.:martial

This question has been asked lots of times and the answer from most spearos is once a year. Sometimes I leave mine 2 seasons but once a year is the usual.

Once a season for me. Another trick is to use unperfumed talc as if you were flouring a fillet of fish, this combined with keeping rubber in total darkness helps delay any 'perishing' which would otherwise occur naturally. The freezer trick works too but bag them up tight first!!!

the fridge thig works but takes up space the freezer i'm not sure about. if you keep them in a dry dark place. i think you'll be good for 2 years. and always wash them well after use. .

safe diving.
