Hey Guys,

Just bought a second gun - got a good deal on a Rob Allen 1200 Tuna railgun (my other gun is a 90 PK Sub, a local gun in Brazil).

I'm pretty excited by the new gun, but weather is terrible at the moment, so there's not much chance of getting it wet, and seeing as I just moved to this city, I don't even know anyone with a decent pool to test it out.

Long story short, I've never used a double-banded gun before. Obviously the second rubber sits lower and hence is effectively shorter, so it gets loaded on the front notch and the first rubber on the back notch. What I'm not sure about is if the sits above the first rubber (ie. outside it), or below the first rubber (ie. inside it), or it doesn't matter? Or is this a dumb question that I'll realize as soon as I get to load it??

Cheers fellas,

Platta.

Front band (longest) to the rear notch, second band (shortest) to forward notch.

Cheers, Don Paul

Yep, thanks Don Paul, got that bit already. What I want to know is whether the 2nd band goes inside or outside the first band, or if doesn't matter?

cheers

What Don Paul said is right and pretty much the standard. I load differently. I take the first band (on the tip of the muzzle) and pull it through the other band and load it on the closest notch. Then, I load the other band on the notch closest to the trigger.

I have a RA 120 with 2x14 rubbers, i load bottom rubber first to the furtherest notch thats closet to the trigger, then top rubber to the closest notch to the muzzle, that way the two rubbers sit nicely on top of eachother without crossing over each other, happy hunting,
