If I'm right handed which hand I use to hold speargun butt when chestloading?
I'm confuse because there are 2 different way how to chest load speargun that i read and watch in youtube , one using righ hand to use hold speargun butt and other using left hand.

what kind of spear-gun have you? Pneumatic or rubber bands? How long?
For what you posted, I presume it's pneumatic, because I was never able to load a rubber bands gun with only one hand.
If it is so I can only tell my story :)
I, like you, hold my pneumatic in my right hand. When I must load, I do it with my left hand, but I cannot do chest-loading because the gun + the arrow are far to long. So I place the one end [with the trigger] on my lower leg joint and with the left hand I load slowly the gun.
If you have a rubber bands gun and want to chestload, I really think that you must use both your hands. First place the arrow into the gun until you heard a "click" and after that pull with both of your hand the rubber bands.
If I was good at English, this post would have been shorter :p

That's the spirit :p

Vali If you see in this video, the guy is using his right hand to push the speargun butt onto his chest (I thing this guy is right handed)

But in these "how to load your speargun tips" is using left hand.

"Place one hand (if you’re right-handed it will be your left hand) on the butt of the gun. Make sure you have an open palm at the butt of your speargun with one hand"
My question is which is the best one If I'm right handed? Or is simply because incorrect typing?

Just do what makes you feel more comfortable doing in the water, right or left doesn't really make a difference ;)

I hold the butt of the gun in my right hand and pull the rubber closer with my left hand till I can get it with both hands(when you've got the butt on your chest already). I am righthanded and prefer doing it this way. I can do it the other way around but it seems that it's easier when pulling the rubber with my left hand. Hope it helps. CHeers
