Ok I have made the netting for the parlour entrance - 8 meshes wide by probably 30 long.... what do I do with this big rectangle to make it into a parlour entrance can anyone help please? been trying to figure out how to make it into a cone shape but all I have so far is a bald patch from all the head-scratching... hmmm

Myself and I believe a few others just use abandoned / lost pots already in location , and do not mark them in any way just move them, if you can to a spot easily found again , like near a particular rock or underwater feature .Then just service it by diving to it ! There are often such pots in crabby locations , a few times I have retrieved them for the potter if he is around.

I'm making one from a plastic washing basket (with lid) and some sash window weights although I'll probably tie it to some kelp as well. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the useful tip on the bait types.

Hi All,
Not PC but rabbit makes great pot bait. So if Flopsy pops her clogs - freeze her or peel one off your front bumper.
