Love freediving, live in London, would like to dive around UK and where my folks live in South of France around Gulf of St Tropez.

I dive to around 40m, just getting into empty lung dives in a big way- a real revelation. Just finished course with Seb Murat in Dahab, he only does empty lung dives to increase the dive response... wierd that my dives last just as long on empties as fulls! Great experience.

Anyhow, I seek a dive buddy for trips from London, I have a car and non-freediving friends out west, cornwall etc. Also keen to check out Chepstow quarry... and South of France.

In France from 18th - 25th Sept 06, then back to UK.

Mate have a look at the British Freediving Association webpage - www.britishfreediving.org . You'll be able to find a club near you on that.

Chepstow is only 2 and a bit hours drive from London and it's a damn good diving spot.

Cheers,
Ben

ps I did Seb's course last year - its an eye opener isn't it?

When in France, be sure to go to make some dives to Nice (it is quite close) with CIPA! They dive daily. And call them for some tips to the place you'll stay.

Also check out freedving clubs at AIDA.fr and FFESSM. Or post a message on the French freediving forum at Espit Apnée - there are much more French freedivers than here.

I'm going to follow up on both those leads, thanks very much... yes, Seb's stuff is a massive eye opener. The descent on a purposeful empty lung dive is unbelievable- like flying... even if my dive response is still in it's infancy and I sacrifice depth.

Cheers, S
