Medium stiffness is usually used, thats for average growth people (like 70-90kg or so)
You can change blades on these footpockets, u dont have to buy new ones ;)
Omer footpockets are good (Stingray), but Picasso is also satisfying :)
I can recommend from experience Leaderfins carbon blades - LeaderFins.com
These are cheap and very good ;)

i am 63KG >> so what about the soft one for me >> and what do u prefer if your Weight
like me
thanx alot martin for the info

Really I think a better option is fiberglass fins. They are durable and usually less expensive. All the big brands have good footpockets; best to be able to try first if possible.

And I agree to go with soft or at the most a medium blade.

Then soft ones are good ;)

Hmm... Im not sure about it. We have a girl in our divingclub that weights ~60 kg. The Leaderfins Carbonfins Soft is really soft, almost as a rubberband. When she kicks normally the blade almost fold into a 90 degree angle and she doesnt get any power.

My mantra has been for years that anyone who claims they need stiffer than medium long blades doesn't know what they're doing and usually the softer the better.

However, I have to retract that statement a little having seen the fins Jouskari mentions. There are soft and there are soft - the definition of stiffness varies greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The fins in question (leaderfins Carbonfins soft - at least that model) are really ridiculously soft, in a word, useless. For years we have been campaigning to get softer fins and it seems they finally listened :) But I guess they are already in the works to make them just a tad stiffer...

so can we say that the medium one better but not always the best it depends on finning and current in tha sea

Medium or soft fins are much better in a strong current. Surface finning always works better with a softer blade than vertical diving.

As far as footpockets, fit is very important.
Imersion footpockets are very wide. Picasso are wide, but not high in the arch of the foot. Spettons are wide but very low across the arch. Dssault footpockets are fairly wide and high across the arch. Omer Milleniums are medium width and fairly high, and I ahve heard that the Stingrays are between medium and narrow. Beuchat is the only narrow footpocket that I have tried on that allows replaceable blades.

Personally, I use Imersion E-carbons here in Alaska, and Dessault footpockets with SpecialFins medium fiberglass blades in warmer water. The E-carbons are soft, but don't get stiffer in cold water, the footpockets fit my feet really well (I don't need fin keepers), and they are easy to get on and off in the cold. The Dessaults are a little stiffer and work great, but are more difficult to get on when there is snow on the ground (not your problem)

I am 6ft 235lbs.

I use the newer softer Picasso foot pockets. They fit my wide feet very well with 4mm socks.

I have straight blade #3 Waterways fiberglass in one set of Picasso foot pockets. Pretty stiff.

I have the stiffest Picasso carbon blades in another set. About medium stiffness.

Suggest staying with the most comfortable footpockets. There are many carbon blades available now with an angle at an affordable price. I do not think there is any comparison between carbon and fiberglass. I would not use my carbon fins for rough rocky entries.

I do not think there is any good comparison of the stiffness ratings between fins. Suggest trying out in a pool to see what works for you.
