We decided to head down to Long Key and see what the day had to offer. The water looked great and vis was superb, the day was just nice! We made our way to some reef patches at about 20-30ft and shot a few fish. Then it was time to hit some deeper spots, so we made our way to a 60-70ft reef area where the macks were all over the place but didn't offer us a chance for a shot :head. Saw some nice fish but didn't manage much, fish seemed real spooky. We wound up going back into the shallow reefs and pulled out some more fish.... and almost lost my boogie float to a horny loggerhead turtle :inlove. It was a fun day and hopefully we can get back out there soon :friday
