Hello Everyone,

Bo here, I am going to be visiting Oahu this winter and would really like to do some freediving. I am a recreational freediver and safe diving is my number 1 priority. I would describe myself as an average freediver. I enjoy diving in the 30-50 foot range (max 80 feet fresh water). I have attended PFDI clinics as well as Martin Stepanek’s divefit clinic so I am familiar with basic safety protocol.

I recently got into underwater videography and am excited to test out my new setup. If anyone would like to go freediving with me, I’ll be on the island of Oahu from Dec. 17, 2008 – Jan 6, 2009. This is my first major vacation in a long time and I will be free pretty much my entire time there.

Check out a short freediving vid I put on youtube and be amazed at the “greenness” of the water. Here in the D.C. metropolitan area, this is about as good as it gets… I really look forward to diving somewhere with vis greater than 10 feet:)

(BTW, this vid was taken with a cheap canon digital in a semi-disposable plastic bag housing. The setup I plan on bringing with me to Hawaii is a hi-def sony hc7.
