Looking for a buddy to freedive

Hi!

My name is Chris, I'm 27yr and I'm from Poland. I plan to visit Florida from 10-17 August. I'll be traveling alone so I'm looking for a buddy who would like to join me to freedive together I'm affraid to dive alone as it's too risky.

I'm considering Ft. Lauderdale or Key West. Not sure which one is better to freedive / snorkel.

Can anybody recommend some good places to dive? Are there any clubs/dive centers which organize daily boat trips to dive from the boat?

Any tips appreciated!
