Looking for a buddy to help me get started in Houston

Hey all,

I will be back from school in Houston from July 22 - Aug 14. I have really been wanting to get started with spearfishing, and I plan on making it happen once I get home. Is there anyone near the Houston area that would be willing to help me get started? If you have a boat that wouldn't be bad either!
