Looking for a good long range and precise gun

I have been looking at the seatec geko 100 carbon but have no clue if it is a good gun. Also the price of 420 euros is pretty tuff if it’s not that good after all. I am spearfishing in the Mediterranean and don’t need much power, but the fish are really aware and shy, why range and speed would be good. I’m kind of new to spearfishing and wanted to know if some of you maybe have experience with the geko or could recommend me a better one. Also is carbon necessary for a good gun or is Aluminium enough? Would be really thankful for some advice.

I know nothing about the gecko, but saying you don't need power but need speed and distance is not consistent. I've always thought that the way to get more speed and distance is to have more power.

Can you recommend me a gun that would fit for me?

Carbon is good for recoil and barrel stiffness in traditional band guns. A simple carbon tube without mass isn't enough, so a reinforced "fatter" one is necessary. Generally, aluminium can be just fine if it's a non-thin barrel. Pathos sniper guns are okay in this category but I'm sure there are other ones too.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money on the gun itself, just get a roller or invert (polyspast) roller. Works wonders in the Mediterranean and you can get a lot of power with a very light gun. Otherwise a good setup is* a 100cm simple* tube gun with 2x14,5mm bands and a 6,5 shaft.

Thanks for the reply, I have a alluminium Cressi Cherokee fast 90 with two 14,5mm rubbers. Just thought I should maybe upgrade because of more range, but if that’s the best setup I can have for speed and range, I’m happy with that.

You can use thicker bands but the recoil will be too much, since as a gun it doesn't have any significant mass. Something you could do is increase the elongation of the 14,5 rubbers, up to ~3,3.
Otherwise going the roller/invert route is the only option if you don't want to spend much on a carbon gun, really. Although you could just get a longer barrel for the same gun, or actually just a carbon tube (some are available online but I can't vouch for any) and replace your current one. Comes much cheaper than an entire gun.
