Are you coming to Kona for the PFI freediving course in November? If so,
I'll see you there. I don't have any suggestions for cheap lodging other than
checking the local motels close to Kailua-Kona. The last time I was there
I stayed in two "local" run motels that were decent enough for a few days
stay.

hey Billfish!
Thanks for the emails and stuff. Still looking for a local youth hostel as such.

What are the temps in Hawaii at that time? I guess i can look that up but its always best to hear first hand knowledge.

hey guys try go online westhawaiitoday.com under rentals.

Also check out http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/hawaii
checkout kailua Kona first then surrounding kona areas.

Also check patti's youth hostel. I don't know the phone numbers but it is centralised downtown Kona. Kirk will be able to give you directions easily from any directions. You can also contact me directly via e-mail.
