Hello guys
Scott here, originally from England and now moved to Portugal. I speak some Portuguese and I'm learning...slowly.
I am new to the sport and breath hold diving. Although I know it is a completely different skills set I am a commercial diver by trade so have lots of in water experience. I hope this will serve well with in-water management at least and for in-water recoveries incase of unfortunate events. I'm fit and have been training my tolerances for a little while.
I currently live between Nazare and Peniche and hope to gain experience around these areas (although I don't mind travelling a little further). I will likely be looking to get started at the start of next year. I am going to invest in a Sens07vest (automatic recovery vest) for myself so if there are no takers then I will be going solo. I will be on many occasions anyway, as I'm well aware how difficult it can be to organise a time good for two people. That being said I would rather be shown the ropes be someone who knows a thing or two, and open to teaming up with other newbies too. Hopefully I can meet some sound people on the way.
Drop a line if you are around this area and interested. Any other pointers or advice I'm all ears.
