Hello all, I'm somewhat new to spearfishing and would like to go out more often than I do currently. So far I've been abalone diving 4 times and spearfishing 1 time, the first time I went abalone diving I forgot my wetsuit and went in with shorts a weight belt and my bar and gauge and I got 2 abalone just to show how much I was dedicated to get my hands on my first abalone. I'm located in San Fransisco and would be willing to go freediving anywhere from the Sonoma coast to Monterey. I'm a full time college student so Friday through aundayh are usually the best days for me.

I live in Oakland and would go with you some time. I work and the weekends are better for me too. My brother is also somewhat new to is, so what would be a good group. Monterey is nice and calm. I watch the surf on CDIP and wait for at least 3 days of “all blue”.

Yeah I was too, it was a good first season for me though. I wish I could go back out there and get my hands on some more ab, but next seasoning hoping I'll be able too
