Hello Jim! I’m Dan n I may be up for them dates. Not done much diving but keen to get into it. Love the water swimming n snorkelling. Into spearfishing n foraging, got all the gear n no idea at the minute, just enthusiastic and willing. What depths are u planning to dive and what spots was you hoping to try? Hit me up with details n I’ll probably more than likely be happy to tag along. Regards! Dan

Dan,

It not that deep there so 10m max, I’m pretty new as well I just like checking out the local fish and taking pics, don’t think it’s a spearfishing area as protected but if your up for a dive I will keep in contact with you re best dates, weather in mind. Reading into it we’re looking for a good slack tide. DM you.

Happy just to get in the water Jim. Diving and checking out the marine life’s fine with me. Got a camera I’ve not tried yet.

Would be interested to hear how you find it there.
From what I've heard, and on the couple of occasions I've been there, I think the viz is almost zero most of the time - unless you happen to go on one of the rare occasions when the wind/tides/weather have been just right for several days for it to clear up. (Which is great if you're local and keep an eye on these things, and can easily get out there...)

So spoke to local dive club and bad weather coming in Saturday so tomorrow is best (short notice I know) would be at 13:15 @ weybourne. Let me know if you can make it.

Won’t be able to do tomorrow mate. Another time, when the more favourable then. If the viz is 4/5 feet or better and it’s not blowing a gale I don’t mind.
