Looking for instruction in Pensacola area

Anyone know of instructors in Pensacola to Destin, Florida area? Or someone willing to coach/partner up? I'm stationed at Hurlburt Fld. Tks!!

my buddy/mentor Nik aka sofabike dives at Vortex in Ponce de Leon almost every Saturday. I don't know anybody else closer to you.

Tks...thats interesting, both divers in the two replies I have received dive springs around here, never entered my mind, guess I'm just aching to spearfish but thats a good option

Springs are nice to practice in because it is a more stable environment than the sea ie. no June grass or jellies and good vis most of the time. I think there are some guys in AL who spear. I know at least one decent dive shop/charter over there. You might want to go look on spearboard.com too if that's your main focus, not that you aren't more than welcome to come spring diving
