I am just a beginner at freediving but am looking to learn all that I can! My depths and times are not great but will get better if I can find someone to dive with. I am looking into spearfishing at lake Mead and lake Mojave.

I don't have a boat. But do have all the spearfishing gear. If anyone would like to help me out or just want to join for a dive it would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Ken

I wouldn't mind joining you in a dive at lake mead I'm in LV have dove a few times in the lake was not sure of the rules, and where to dive wouldn't mind spearing a carp.

Wow, talk about odd timing. I haven't checked this area of the forum for a LONG time. Low and behold BLAM a hit on it afterall.

You name the time bud and we'll get together and to spear some fish. I was actually out there today and only managed one carp, and one hit/lost fish.

I have been trying to find the stripers with NO luck at all. I know a great place to spear carp though. Really clear water and can find fish in the 10-40 feet depth. Great for beginners.

Later, Ken
