Looking for Suppliers for Shafts w/ Shark-fin tabs

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Good point Bill that pearl passed over my tiny. They do have a raised loop though to attach the mono. Are the Riffe or Aimrite shafts spring stainless?

Yes they are.

Many years ago, Daryl shipped his guns with pinned shafts because that was all that was available to him in Hawaii, and I still have a couple in my boat as spares. I never had a problem while I used them, but I recall a friend who got a Mahi gun with a pinned shaft. He was not exactly a stud, so he put all three bands on the first pin, and it broke off. Then he put all three on the second pin, and it broke off too. I don't think he tried the third pin.
 
I am familiar with the Ray Oder Shafts. The work fine. Ray's a great guy. Here are some photos of his shafts with pins:
