Coconut Creek here. Longtime snorkler, just getting back into it and starting free diving.

Either of you interested in freediving Blue Springs, April 23rd? I'm planning a trip, might be several of us. Blue is about 30 miles NE of Orlando, off I-4. Its a very good place to practice moderate depth freediving. Good vis, current to blow you out of the basin, 110 ft is possible.

thanks for the invite
id love to make it up there sometime for sure
wont be able to make it though as i have other plans

what kind of exposure protection do you wear in that 72 deg water freediving?
for scuba in that i would need at least a 5mm. im getting a 5mm Pinnacle.

anyway. id love to freedive the springs in the future sometime.

Your 5 mil with a hood should be plenty. I wear a 3/2 surfer suit, hooded vest and assorted boots, gloves etc. Barely sufficient.
