If you spend some time searching around these forums, you'll probably find a lot of other useful information.
The "Manual of Freediving" by Umberto Pelizzari and Stefano Tovaglieri has a bit of information on the topic.
But, I think these things are tough to learn from books. Your best bet would probably be to take a good freediving course. In a few days you could save yourself months of trial and error....

Thanks for the thread, there's some good advice there. I think doing a course is what might help the most. My PB is 23m with hands free equalising but I know it's equalising that's holding me back. I'll grab a copy of Umberto's book as well to see what it's got inside. Thanks for the feedback.
