The Lost Atlantis Depth Competition

Freediving Club Greece would like to announce an 8 day depth training event and competition in the amazing volcanic island of Santorni in Greece between the 27th of September and the 4th of October.

Santorini island is one of the most likely locations were the legend of lost Atlantis was born as the island sunk during a massive volcanic eruption that created the amazing morphology we see today.

During the freediving training event we will spend 8 days diving in the Caldera (the sunken volcanic cone) and we will have a chance to dive in all depth disciplines as well as use the Freediving Club's sled system for variable ballast and no-limits training. The event will include 2 official competition days with AIDA Ranking.

In order to ensure the maximum enjoyment for everybody we will be keeping the numbers of participants limited.

Unfortunately we have had some ear and sinus problems with some of the participants which reduced the numbers starting but the performances were very nice under good conditions.

First day with the first National Record for Eran Gilad from Israel with 55m in CNF.
