hi...after years of using carbon fins,I found them old(one got little cracked)..and its time for a new stuff!
I was looking for something good for deep spearfishing(all year)...M technic looks good, what I ve heard about them...
Does anyone use them or know is there a big difference between BS and Spirit model? thanx

Wath I know is they are more pure apnea fis, excellent for that. For spearfishing, the greek orefer the annax xxone. The bleutec flame model is a famous spearfishing fin too, and you find them all at nautilus spearfishing in USA. Majestic fins are also good and famous greek fins for apnea and spearfishing. You find them at diveshop.gr.
Ia have 2 pairs of annax, soft and medium soft, and I love them. They were made for pathos pockets, and pathos pockets were made for them, so they work perfect. Mine both I asked a little wider (21cm) and with a greather angle of 20 degree, both made by request from Grece.

Best Seller is an entry-level (if you can say that for M-Technic) fin, it has Medium hardness and very god response! A friend of mine uses them for 9 years, the last 4 with a hole in one blade from a spearshaft hehehe!!! For deep deep spearfishing there are only two options in the world!!! Spirit if you weight up until 85kg, and CR if you're a heavyweight! I'm 1,90m & 100kg and CR are the only fins that can bring me up from 45-50m after a shot! Last try a pair of Mares Razor foot pockets, cause they work best with M-Technic, and are alot more durable than Pathos!

Have used MTechnic in the past and must say that I wasn't impressed, and then on a recent trip one of the blades broke while I was fighting an amberjack. Contacted Marinos to get a replacement and after much time wasting he said that there was no replacement. Basically, he found every excuse in the world not to replace the fins and wanter to charge me to send the blades back, after having asked me to send them to him. Never seen such bad customer service.

So am buying Spierre from South Africa, which I hear is the best fin going at the moment.
