Despite all the reports and negative talk i decided to go out this morning and check out the sitch. I gave it a look over from shore and it didnt look good ,but i went. Ended up with a hazy 15 ft viz in most places, suprisingly it was the best conditions ive been out in, in the last few weeks, weird. Any way the day worked out with my new PB Sheephead @ 25.2 a nice sandy at 4.5 and two more decent sand bass. So im stoked and i just wanted to blab about it. thats it!

Stunning fish! Have my happiest congratulations for the catch.

How does it taste? (We don't have those here: never tried one)

Wow, pretty amazing looking fish!
Get it in the hall of fame - send a pm to OMD & he will sort it out for you.

That's cool. Nice fish -I don't know what size sheephead normally grow to, but that looks like a big fish. I went in the sea (S. coast of England) over the weekend expecting unusually clear conditions and instead got mainly yellow-green "bloom". It was good enough to spear in though, just!

Nice Sheep! Bet it made some great fish tacos! I shot one in Mexico, I thought it would be similar in taste to our parrot fish (uhu) but I was wrong! way better, a bit more moist and nice and mild. They are a bitch to clean though, or skin anyway.

Nice Sheepdog and Nebulifer Kyle,:friday Way to go mate.
I got some tricks I'll tell you about at the next OCS meeting.
Cheers, Don

Hey and thanks a lot guys for being excited for me, I got a few negative comments on spearboard, thats why i dont go there much. Too many negative people. Appreciate the nice comments, dive safe

For what it's worth Kyle......we're proud of you. GROUP HUG TIME!

I'm just pissed that I passed and ended up riding this fatty cloudbreak to inside shorebreak instead.

Hit me up, weekend weather is lining up nicely. A hui hou
