Well, at least the titles in German newspapers claim she "almost drowned", but when you watch the video, you can see she was underwater just for 23 seconds :) Well, the entire stunt looks like a very bad, painful, and chaotic amateur show (especially if you understand German), so it was no big surprise it finished as it did.

What I found the best was the final anouncement of the moderator where he gives you her phone number, so that you can book her to show you the stunt personally rofl

so what happened (for those who don't speak german) - did she not guess the code? It seems like there was some discussion about the boy not remembering his own code correctly..... or was it that the girls didn't put in the code quickly enough because they were afraid of getting their dresses wet....:girlie

Well, it looks like the guy messed it up, but it was not entirely clear, and also newspapers are not unite in the conclusion. However, the guy (allegedly a German comedian) was quite a chaotic person with IQ appearing to be somewhere deep below average, so I incline he either did not understand what to do, or really believed she can guess the number, and chose another one than they previously agreed with the girl. Or perhaps he was cleverer than he appeared to be, and just did an excellent and well hidden joke, changing the numbers intentionally :)

It is especially amusing for me, because it makes me remember a stunt I did when I was student - I participated on a local cultural festival in a small town, where I ought to break a record in escaping from cuffs and bondage. It was quite a spectacle. I was tied up perfectly, with many meters of rope, cuffs, and a plastic foil. The escape was quite dramatic, and I indeed broke the record quite safely - I managed to release after about 5 hours (when the festival was finished), beating so all existing records in that discipline.

However at the above show, it did not seem to be planned in this way, as it was the case with my stunt :)

wow - I could never do that, my claustrophobia is bad enough that I sometimes freak out getting into my wetsuit top, and I hate being restrained; just ask my "friend" Tom from 3rd grade who held me down one time at lunch time and got rewarded with a bloody nose.

but in an effort to face my fears, I once got inside my rabbitech tanker dive bag, I could just fit inside when curled up, and asked my girlfriend to zip me up. We had a safety word ("let me out!") - I lasted about 15 seconds. :rcard
