I know i want to make one out of teak and one out of cyrpess and i want to make them laminates for the look but was wondering about the width, length and height of the stock. And what trigger mechs people have liked.

Teak is the the the better way to go when making a speargun. To answer your question about width, length, and height, it depends on what you are going to use the gun for. If you are going blue water big fish shooting (tuna and such) you want something no smaller than 2.5" X 2.5" X 60", if you are going for reef fish you want a smaller gun around 1.5" X 1.5" X 45". I rarely shoot anything other than grouper and snapper around rocks, ledges, and reefs, my gun is 1.5" X 2" X 48". I know your post is fairly old but i hope this may help a little.
