After two years, I've managed to snap all of my OEM power bands for my 60 Biller. So I have half a dozen broken bands with ss wishbones and rings laying around. How's the best way to measure and make new power bands with the old wishbones? :) thanks for your time.

Measure from slot to tab subtrat an inch or two for the wishbone and divide by about 3.1 or so. Double that number ans you have the length for rubber for your new band. This spear gun stuff ain't rocket science for most of us. Get it close and it'll shoot like it always has.

Thanks for the info on the measurements, but how do you stretch the the band and get the tiny stainless steel (or plastic) sleeves over it to secure the wishbone?

Secure them in place with a double constricter knot. I know the store bought bands have little gizmos holding the wishbone in place, but the knot works jsut as well.
