hi folks,
this stringer cost around £2.00 max and works well,
it involes a bike gear cable, a size 2.0 siviel, a key ring loop and 2 crimp sleves,

first cut the cable to length you want an remove the excess (try to cut towards the lug on the for the cable lenght as the bottom will give you a nice waxed surface so the cable does not fray)

slip a sleve down the cut end and return it to a loop making sure the head of the siviel can go in and out freely, and crimp them togerther,

on the other end make the loop slight larger and put the siviel in the center of the loop and crimp,

now pass the head of the siviel through the other end of the stinger and thread the king ring around the top, and job done.

ive never had any problems doing it this way but its a bit of an as removing the key ring to tread the fish on to it, i find once ive killed the fish to pass my knife through the bottom of its eye sockets and pass the non siviel end of the stinger through there.

take care and dive safe guys,
