We recently put together an instruction video on how to install the MAKO Camera gun mount on a railgun. We hope you find it useful.

We have assembled a full range of Go Pro accessories for the diver and spearo including filters, modular tray systems, lights and an extension pole. Of course we have also designed and manufactured, high quality, anodized aluminum gun mount hardware that should be compatible with most any railgun and wood or hybrid guns as well.

We also offer an inexpensive recoil stabilizer which is necessary on many guns.

Our gun mounts consist of several modular components that can be mixed and matched and configured to provide incredible flexibility in mounting locations and orientations. There are too many options to list or display here, so we will show just a few.

Our popular mounting system allows the camera and mounting arm to be removed from the gun mount, in a few seconds. This allows the diver to film his buddy in a safe manner. Please, regardless of how you have your camera mounted, NEVER point a loaded speargun at a person! We put together a short video to show this capability as well.

We offer two basic bracket options, one for a “pipe” gun (railgun) and one for a wood stock. The railgun mount clamps firmly on the outside of the barrel and does not require penetration of the barrel. It can be located anywhere along the barrel and the stainless hardware and anodized aluminum should give you years of worry free service. We even include a small container of marine grease which should be applied to the threads during assembly and periodically if the gun sees hard use.

We have a choice of three different arms, only one type is pictured below:

A few different potential configurations:

Our optional, recoil stabilizer (outlined in red) prevents the camera from rotating backwards:

We also offer a Wood Gun mount. This mount requires the installation of the mount via three (supplied) stainless screws. Once installed, this compact, lightweight mount, does not need to be removed. The camera arm and camera are easily removable for transport and also hand held filming. The mount can be installed on the side or bottom of any wood gun that has a flat surface. The mounting arm can be bent to accommodate the sloping sides of a wood gun and to allow the camera to be mounted in the correct orientation.
