Hey Divers,

This week I have a killer sale on my MAKO Kona Kill Knives.

Only $25.00 each - Note: No special codes or coupons are needed!

This knife is identical to the knife that the expensive brands sell for $71.95 each.

So, don’t let this low price fool you:

• I use the same factory as the expensive brands.
• I use the same material as the expensive brands.
• I offer the same high quality as the expensive brands.

The only difference is the price. No dive shop markup!

Thanks guys for taking time to read this.

Dive safe,

this is not mako maker, cressi has sam knife, omer same it maker is unknown in montenegro kost 20€

He said he uses the same factory and same materials as other brands, but those brands are a lot more expensive in the US.

made in chine
I don't have a Mako knife in front of me now, but over the years I've had many of these knives that look exactly like the expensive brands. Masahiro Mori in Los Angeles sells one and says that he gets it from the same factory in Italy. They are stamped Made in Italy. I've purchased other knives from other brands that look just like the more expensive ones and they re also stamped Made in Italy. I just got new one from GR Tarr at Redtide in Florida. His website says his knives are made in Italy the knife I got from him is stamped Made in Italy.

So if Dano says his Mako knives are made in the same factory as all the others, then I'm inclined to believe that they are make in Italy. But if they aren't, I'm not sure I care if the quality is there. After all, my iPhone is made in China and I like it a lot.

Thanks Bill:

Yes these knives are made in Italy. I know the language "same factories" might be a little ambiguous in this case.

There ARE much less expensive knives that look very similar, but they are made with inferior materials - so it is no wonder that (at this price) someone might assume that the MAKO knife as also of lesser quality.

My knife is also stamped "Made in Italy" and that is where it is made.
