noodling sounds like it was invented after a couple of bogans had a serious amount of tinnies and nothing else to do, but i reckon i'd probable give it a go guaranteed it was a catfish
 
You don't want to stick your hand where a snapping turtle is. One time out in east Texas, a monster of a snapper had lumbered out of the water. It took about 4 men to grab it on its sides and carry over where people could see it. This thing was about the size of a Galapagos...well, that's an exaggeration...but let's just say it was about 3 1/2 foot long shell. Some smartass stuck a broom in its face and just about splintered the damned thing. Mean sum'bitches.
